How Cleaning NL handles directory, claim, and contact information.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how business owners and visitors can contact us about privacy rights or listing corrections.

Directory data
We store public business information, imported listing details, categories, locations, and owner-approved updates.
Claim data
Claim forms collect identity, role, contact, and evidence details for moderated ownership review.
Payments
Payments are processed by PayPal. We store payment and subscription identifiers, not full card or PayPal account credentials.
Controls
You can request access, correction, deletion, or objection where applicable by contacting us.
Information we collect
We collect information visitors submit directly, such as contact messages, listing claim forms, business correction requests, and owner portal updates. For listed businesses, we store business profile data such as name, address, phone number, website, service areas, service categories, opening-hours source text, imported ratings, and public source URLs.
When a business owner starts a claim, we collect claimant name, email, role/title, business contact details, evidence text, and payment status. If a claim is paid, PayPal sends subscription and payment event identifiers that we store for audit and account access decisions.
How we use information
We use directory data to make listings searchable and useful to visitors. We use claim data to verify whether a claimant should manage a business profile, maintain an audit trail for moderation, and control sponsored placement and owner access based on paid benefits.
Payment processing
PayPal processes claim payments and subscriptions. Cleaning NL receives payment event notifications such as subscription activation, completed subscription payments, failed payments, cancellations, and expirations. We use those events as the source of truth for payment status and benefits.
Do not send card numbers, PayPal passwords, bank details, or other payment credentials through our contact forms or listing evidence fields.
Sharing and retention
Public listing details are shown in the directory. Claim evidence, payment event payloads, owner account records, and moderation notes are kept private to authorized administrators and systems that need them to operate the service.
We retain claim and payment audit records as long as needed for fraud prevention, financial records, dispute handling, legal obligations, and directory quality.
Your choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable. For public listing corrections, include the listing URL and evidence of the correct information so we can review the request.
